FDZJ will be the co-organizer for the Pacific Rim Forum's "Second Asia Science-Based Innovation, Life Sciences & Technology Summit" 2004-09-28
This forum (to be conducted in Shanghai, May, 2005) focuses on the brining together Asia/Pacific’s – and China’s – leading corporate and policy players in the life sciences industry together with many of the world’s leading practitioners and companies. The strategic objective will be to meaningfully explore the many tangible commercial opportunities and their important industry implications that we are now all either strategizing or actually in the process of implementing.
A more insightful segmentation of these different industry implications we believe can be succinctly best summarized as:
● The “Red” Biotechnologies – Human healthcare(e.g. therapeutics, diagnostics, drug delivery, cell and gene therapies etc., ultimately leading to the Health & Wellness industry’s “Holy Grail” of personalized medicine.
●The “White” Biotechnologies – Industrial Manufacturing process (energy, biomass conversion, biomaterial, bioprocess, etc.)
●The “Green” Biotechnologies – Agriculture (including food, feed, fibers, transgenics, etc.)
From the past 8 years of innovative work, FDZJ has accumulated forefront proprietary knowledge in the life sciences field and by co-organizing this conference we are looking for a chance to commercialize, internationalize and industrialize our efforts.
This conference will also provide a platform for domestic companies and institutes to meet the world class leaders in Life sciences, finance, and consultant companies - a great opportunity for mutual understanding and collaboration between China and the world.
This conference is by invitation-only and is limited to 300 delegates.
